Standish Neighbourhood Plan-Meeting 15th November 2018 7:00-9:00pm

STANDISH NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

15th November 2018, 7.00 – 9.00pm. Standish Village Hall

The Parish Council has decided to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for Standish so that our community is in a strong position to meet the challenges we will face when Stroud District Council considers the growth of Stonehouse.

Neighbourhood Plans are a way for communities to help shape the planning policies for their area.  They are based on community consultation, though robust planning evidence is required to support their policies.

Our launch event is on 15th November where our planning consultant Dr Andrea Pellegram will explain the process and hear your views on what the plan needs to cover.

Parish councillors will be actively involved in developing our Neighbourhood Plan, but we hope that other residents will come forward to help with its development.

This initial meeting is your opportunity to help shape the planning policy that Stroud District Council will use when making planning decisions in our area.

Please come along on the 15th to hear what is involved and to share your views: if we don’t know what you want, we cannot represent you!
