DIRECTIONS TO STANDISH VILLAGE HALL
Location: The Hall is in Standish Lane, next to the B4008 between Gloucester and Stonehouse. It is 2 miles south of Junction 12 of the M5, and 2 miles north of Stonehouse. It is next to Standish Church with its distinctive spire.

From the M5 Motorway (north or southbound): Exit at J12 and head south following signs to Stonehouse on the B4008. After 2 miles you will see Standish Church spire on the right. Turn right at the church into Standish Lane and the Hall car park is immediately on your left.
From Gloucester: head south following signs to the M5/Bristol. Cross over the M5 at J12 and take the B4008 to Stonehouse and follow the directions above.
From London and the south east: Follow signs to Stroud and then Stonehouse on the A419. Go through Stonehouse High St and carry straight on the B4008 to Gloucester. After 2 miles you will see Standish Church on your left. Turn left at the church into Standish Lane and the Hall car park is immediately on your left.

By Rail: The nearest station is Stonehouse with main line connections to London, Bristol and Birmingham. The Hall is a 10 minute taxi ride costing less than £10. (Stonehouse Taxis: 01453 822555 A&A Taxis: 01453 767777 Apollo Taxis: 01453 823344)
By Bus: There is a bus stop on the B4008 that serves the church and village hall. Buses run from Stroud, Dursley and Gloucester. For a timetable see HERE.
If cycling follow the directions as for driving.
Walking is not recommended as the pavement is narrow and non-existent in places on the B4008 – in particular between Junction 12 of the M5 and between Stroud Green and Stonehouse.
